You're right...buying Larry's Savage was a stroke of fortune. I picked her up two weeks ago and spent five hours with Larry going over his restoration work. And what a job he did! 27,000 miles on her, but only about 3,000 after the total rebuild. Paid $2,700 which I thought was very fair given that Larry did exacting work on everything, customized her for perfect road riding, and she has a SuperTrapp to boot.
Riding her as much as I can, including my 60 mile roundtrip work commute. A real pleasure! Zeroed in on a Savage to get back into riding mainly because of you guys on this site.
